- 1,5 hours drive from Sofia to Panichishte, Rila Mountain
- Chair lift from Panichishte to the Seven Rila Lakes hut – start of the hike (about 30 minutes).
- Two-way mountain hike around the lakes. Approximately 5 hours each way.
- Back to the Seven Rila Lakes hut, where you can have a late lunch.
- Chair lift from the Seven Rila Lakes hut to Panichishte (about 30 min.)
- 1,5 hours drive from Panichishte to Sofia
